Oct 17, 2019 · As for upgrading the JBL system. The headunit sends a digital signal to the factory amp (non-JBL doesnt have this). The fader and crossover points are all handled inside the amp, so its not so easy to replace the factory amp with a aftermarket one. The speakers them selves each run on their own run of wires to the amp.

It's bass performance had a Qts well above 1.0, and it sounded like it. There is an exaggerated peak in the range of 60-80 Hz.

Oct 3, 2021 · Ok, I received my JBL Studio 570 speakers on Friday, ordered on Tuesday night so pretty fast shipping. They are quite small towers at just 34 inches tall. They pack a nice punch though, compression tweeter, dual 5.25 inch woofers. Very large waveguide. They are not nearly as ugly in person as they are in pictures or videos.
