At least four people were killed and “dozens” more were injured in a mass shooting in one of the most popular entertainment areas in Birmingham.

There were multiple people shot on 20th Street near Magnolia Avenue in the Five Points South area, the Birmingham Police Department said in a social media post.

Police believe multiple shooters fired multiple shots on a group of people either on the sidewalk or on the road.
