The 29th Central Valley Honor Flight visited the United States Capitol, monuments and memorials, and the United States Army Museum in Virginia, as part of a special tour for the group of veterans and guardians.

On their first full day on the East Coast, the 67 veterans of the 29th Central Valley Honor Flight visited the United States Capitol in Washington D.C. On Tuesday, the group received a police escort to take them to the United States Capitol building.
