The political world is still reeling from a CNN report that the Republican candidate for North Carolina governor, the current Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, posted racist and explicit messages on a pornography web site message board a decade ago.

Donald Trump’s campaign declined to comment Thursday on whether North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, whom the former president once described as “Martin Luther King on steroids,” should drop out of the battleground state’s race for governor.

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, the Republican candidate for governor, is no longer attending former President Donald Trump's rally in North Carolina Saturday. It comes after CNN unearthed Robinson's alleged posts on a pornographic website.
