Bose is replacing its $499 Smart Soundbar 600 with a speaker it simply calls Smart Soundbar. Along with a new A.I. Dialogue Mode, you can now pair the company's Ultra Open Earbuds with the soundbar to use as personal surround speakers.

Bose released the Ultra Open Earbuds earlier this year which looked more like jewelry from the future than earbuds. We liked them for their innovative design, great battery life, and excellent sound with minimal leakage.

A new Bose Personal Surround Sound feature uses the open-style earbuds as rear speakers — while still playing audio on the soundbar at the same time.
