ELMONT, N.Y. -- Jack Hughes scored his second goal of the game at 2:35 of overtime, and the New Jersey Devils defeated the New York Islanders 4-3 at UBS Arena on Saturday. Dougie Hamilton sprung Hughes on a breakaway, where he beat Sorokin blocker side to give the Devils their third straight win.

NEW YORK — Jack Hughes got his second goal of the game 2:35 into overtime as the New Jersey Devils rallied from two goals down and beat the New York Islanders 4-3 on Saturday night. Dawson Mercer and Stefan Noesen also scored for New Jersey, which won its third straight. Jacob Markstrom finished with 19 saves.

Noah Dobson has played over 25 minutes in four straight games, 113:25 total. He played 30:02 in their 4-3 shootout win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Dobson has been on the ice for nine of 17 goals against, including the last three Devils' goals and five Islanders' goals.
