This is an expensive observation deck. However, Tokyo doesn't have an impressive view from above, it is actually disappointing. The only nice part is to see river and bridges. Full review by 649001

There was a heavy downpour on September 25th, so it was a shame we didn't see any beautiful scenery. The staff were very friendly and helpful, except one male staff at the entrance who had a terrible… Full review by Pandora P

Was able to see a lot of Tokyo from the top of Skytree. It was cool to see Sensoji temple from there as well since I had gone earlier. The elevator ride up there was neat as well. I got to enjoy a pa… Full review by Fiona S

My entrance time was scheduled for 2 pm. Although I showed up at 8:10 in the evening and apologised for my delay, the friendly Japanese lady said: "That is absolutely no problem. Welcome to the Skytree." I was just one person and it was a Saturday evening. Don't know if they will always make an exception, guess this depends on the person you ask. But you should give it a try.

We are due to travel in mid-April. Are things open, can you move around freely? It's hard to tell from what I'm reading. Thanks

I would adopt a wait & see at the moment, we were there in December 2019 and didn't have a problem, I think the caronavirus will restrict a few things at the moment and they haven't cancelled the Olympics as yet
